It as late night. The moon was only a sliver of white in the deep black, yet strangely beautiful sky. A little girl was sleeping soundily,as usual, with a small black kitten by her head. But she was having horrible nightmares...
There was a tall dark creature behind a woman on the edge of a cliff. The woman's expression was clear ; happy and relaxed. She was totally unaware of the presence directly behind her. The woman's expression changed suddenly as the little girl watched helplessly as the creature pushed the woman off the tall cliff.
An endless scream filled the silence. The little girl started running towards the cliff to see if she could save the woman. But she tripped, and everything was filled with a strange bright light....'
She woke with a start, barely understanding the scream that she has just heard. But she knew it had come from outside. The little girl was suddenly terrified, because it was the same scream as in her nightmare. She ran down the stairs of her large 2-story house, and out the screen door. Her small 3-year-old legs were pumping, her breath came out in large gasps as she trudged over the ground.
She finally reached the cliff a minute later. It was the exact vision as in her dream. There was a dark figure near the edge of the cliff. And there was a woman's voice screaming "AKINA!!!!!"
The little girl knew that had been her mother, so she got up and kept running, for she had tripped a moment ago.
She stopped infront of the tall dark creature, and the scream stopped. Though she very clearly heard the thunk as her mother's slender body hit the sharp rocks below, and then a splash as it was carried down into the deep dark water.
The little girl went to the edge of the cliff, and the creature said in an annoying-as-heck voice, "Now,now Akina..Don't go to clossse...You might end up like your mother. And you wouldn't enjoy that, now would you...?"
Then it disappeared into the quiet night. And Akina was left alone as a small 3-year old girl just wanting her mother to be back.
