Valentine's Day.The worst holiday ever for Sabaku No Gaara.Mostly because he knew that he would be the only one that was walking around Konoha alone.(a/n  yes he is in Konoha right now :P ) But,being Gaara - the emotionless freak -,he didn't mind the loneliness.Infact,he was quite used to it.And Valentine's Day was just like any other day to him.Go training,have breakfast,and then hang out in his room for the rest of the day.Those were his everyday plans as a young man. (a/n don't ask i didn't know what to put there..:P)
    While Gaara was training on this day,he noticed several couples walking through the forest where he set up his targets and excetera.Yamanaka Ino and Nara Shikamaru was the first couple he saw.He later on saw his sister,Temari,with that bastard Uchiha Sasuke.
    But what Gaara didn't notice was that his best friend,Haruno Sakura,was secretly watching him as he trained.
    To be honest,Gaara actually liked Sakura,but was too nervous to tell her so.
    Everytime that Gaara would miss a target with his kunais and shurikens made of sand,they would simply dessolve while Gaara slapped his forehead(yes he does do that in my world).
    By the third time he missed,he was using a real shuriken.It had landed exactly infront of the bush that Sakura was hiding in.
~~** SAKURA'S POV **~~
    {Uh oh..we're screwed!} my inner screamed.
'I'll just say that I was looking for something! Yeah,that's it!..Oh,I am SO screwed!'
{Told you so..}
'Whoever said you could have a say in this?Wait,why am I talking to myself?'
{...}
    After having a small,wait,rephrase that,LARGE inner discussion,I finally jumped from the bush and said,probably a little too loudly ;
    "Found it!"
    "Found what?" asked Gaara,calmly and emotionlessly.
    "Oh...umm..Just my headband!" I stood up quickly,thinking that he wouldn't notice that I was really embaressed and nervous.
    "Sakura,I'm sorry to say your headband is actually ON your head.I'm pretty sure you haven't lost it." Gaara said,smiling.
~~**  NORMAL POV  **~~
    Sakura had never seen Gaara smile.Especially since he was always,well,a non-smiling person.Therefore,this moment was one to savour.
    I wish I had a camera,she though while staring into his eyes unintentionally.
    "Don't stare." said Gaara. "It's rude and it freaks me out."
    At this,he picked up his shuriken while Sakura had come to her senses and was blushing.
    "Right.S-sorry Gaara." Sakura said,her face reddening more then it normally did when she was around Sasuke.
    Just because she didn't know what to do next,Sakura turned around and started to walk away.
    "Wait,Sakura." Gaara said,barely over a whisper.
    But Sakura didn't wait.She was too embaressed.So she started to run as fast as she could,hoping no one in Konoha would notice that she was crying.
    Nor did she want anyone to stop her to ask her what was wrong.Because she was crying for a reason she did not even know.
