Prologue
    It was dark and quiet..Almost too quiet.
    Takeshii made his way silently among the trees and dead bodies,from the war that had happened only a few hours earlier.
    He signaled to the six men who were behind him to follow him as he walked,for he saw no more Sound Nin around,only dead ones.The men cowared back for a minute,not so sure of what lie ahead.But they followed,since they always knew to follow their leader.And since Takeshii had become their new leader after the original had bean stabbed to death,the group followed him.
    Suddenly,as if on que,a kunai shot from the dark,and into Takeshii's back. He groaned in pain,and fell over. Then he screamed to his men to run away before anything else happened.The group did as they were told,though they did not want to leave their leader behind.

     Takeshii died that night,saying almost telepathically to his wife and daughter back in the Village Hidden In The Leaves that he would be allright,though he never was..



CHAPTER ONE: SAKURA'S AMBITION
BRRRINGG! BRRRINGG!SMASH!
    Sakura smashed her fist on her alarm clock. As she opened her eyes,she saw that it read : 7:00AM.
'Ugh,another year of classes..this oughta be fun..' she thought,then got up tiredly and made her way to the bathroom.
     Since she was a sixteen year old konoichi, Sakura no longer lived with her mother, and her father, Takeshii, was always on missions,so there was no point in trying to see him anytime. Yet,she still took classes since Tsunade had suggested that they all know their heritage, science, math, and a whole list of other things.But it was what kept her busy all the time.Well,other then going out for pizza every Tuesday and Friday night with all her friends and sometimes to the mall with her female friends.
     "Atleast I don't have a boyfriend to worry about..but i wish i did.." she said to herself as she washed her face and brushed her hair.
     But that was her main problem! She had everything in life ; friends, family, school, money, but no boyfriend!!
     She went back into her room and went to her closet, thoughts rushing through her mind like a disorganised bedroom.
     "That will be my ambition this year at school," Sakura said  quietly as she put on a pair of baby blue jeans. "I'll find myself a boyfriend. And,for certain,it won't be that traitor Sasuke!"
     Sakura slipped on a deep red long sleeved shirt, then a thin black tank top over it. She turned to look at the clock, it now read 7:30AM. She had to be in class by 8:25, to start at 8:30. So, that gave her enough time to practice singing for the concert in a few weeks, and put all her school supplies in her one-strapped bag.
     As Sakura turned on her CD player,someone knocked on her door. She paused her music and rushed out to answer it.
     When she opened up the door, she was suprised to see an ANBU member outside on her doorstep.
     "Haruno Sakura?" they said,and Sakura knew immediately he was a male,by the voiced of course.
     "That's me." she said,somewhat too cheerfully for the news she was about to receive.
     "I have some bad news..." he said.
